A NSW Parliament select committee has been established to inquire into and report on child development, early childhood intervention services, and other foundational and disability supports available for children and young people with developmental concerns, delays, differences, or disabilities in New South Wales.
Further information about the inquiry, including the terms of reference, can be found on the committee's website here.
As part of the inquiry, the committee is seeking online submissions from NSW residents through the following questions. Responses are due by Monday 31 March 2025.
Responses may be used in the committee's report. Names and contact details of respondents will not be published. The questionnaire will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
Individual contributors can complete an online questionnaire.

Draft Library Resource Management Procedure – Invitation for Expressions of Interest (EoI)

We’re seeking feedback from principals on the draft Library Resource Management Procedure and supporting Information Sheet: Library Resource Management. Additional consultation with the Library Network will occur in tandem with this notification. Feedback from other interested staff is also welcomed.
These documents are intended to replace the Learning Resource Management Policy and its five supporting procedures. This review was driven by a need to align our documents with current practice and to reduce the compliance burden for staff. There is no anticipated change to current practice.
Optional Action: We value your input and want to listen to your thoughts, concerns and ideas about the draft documents. You can indicate your interest in this consultation process by completing this form.
Upon submitting an expression of interest, you will be provided with a copy of the draft documents, for review and feedback by 8 April 2025.

Staff Influenza Vaccination Reimbursement Program 2025

As part of CEDoW’s ongoing commitment to health and safety, the Flu vaccination reimbursement program will run again in 2025.
All staff will need to source their own vaccinations and submit the receipt to whs@dow.catholic.edu.au for reimbursement.
Please note that due to safety concerns regarding onsite vaccination providers, we will not be approving bulk-administered vaccinations for school reimbursement or payment.
How do you receive reimbursement from CEDoW for your flu shot?
CEDoW will reimburse up to $30.00 for your vaccination only. CEDoW’s reimbursement does NOT cover medical expenses incurred for the administration of the vaccination or for visiting the doctor.
To receive the reimbursement, follow the below steps:
- Claim the Medicare component (if applicable)
- Scan or take a photo of your vaccination receipt and send a copy to whs@dow.catholic.edu.au
- Provide your name, employee number, and school/office in the email, and make sure the cost of the vaccination is visible.
Action: The Workplace Safety and Wellbeing team encourages leadership to promote awareness of the 2025 flu vaccination reimbursement program by displaying the corresponding poster within the workplace.

Minor amendments have been made to the Financial Policy - Systemic Schools and CEO and the supporting Financial Procedure - Systemic Schools and CEO as part of this policy’s annual review cycle.
Amendments have been made throughout both documents to clarify requirements as needed and to reflect updates to current practice and position titles.
